During her experience as a public health official, she has observed that Africa (Kenya) receives a lot of great assistance. However, once the money and resources dry up, Kenya does not have the ability to continue programs due to a lack of self-sustainability. The non-profit will be geared towards addressing this shortfall.   It would be known as THE SELF SUSTAINING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE.
The organization will address this issue one community at a time. It would address such issues as flowing potable water, sewage, trash disposal, personal hygiene, sustainable food sources, infrastructure, preventative medicine, barter system management, and self governance – to name a few.
